Does it have a private pool?
Yes: a private 8 × 4 m pool for guests only, unheated and fenced, like the whole plot, so children are safe. There is a porch with a chill-out area, barbecue, trampoline, table tennis, swings and a bouncy castle.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome. The plot and the pool are fenced. Please let us know when booking.
Is there parking?
Yes, inside the plot: room for up to four cars, no searching or paying.
What are the bedrooms and beds like?
Up to 6 people in two bedrooms: the master with a 180 cm king-size bed, and the second bedroom set up either with another king-size bed or with bunk beds for four. A cot and a high chair are available if you ask when booking. One full bathroom, a living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
Can I work remotely from Villa La Barrosa?
Yes. High-speed Wi-Fi (our guests work remotely without any trouble), air conditioning and heating in every room and a Smart TV where you can use your own streaming accounts. From October to May the house is rented by the month, ideal for a remote-work season by the golf course and the beach.
How do I get there from Madrid, Seville or the airports?
From Seville, just over an hour on the AP-4 motorway. From Madrid, about four hours by high-speed train to Cádiz or Jerez plus half an hour by car, or five and a half hours by road. The nearest airport is Jerez, about 35 minutes away; Seville and Málaga airports are an hour and a half and two and a half hours away. The house appears as 'Villa La Barrosa' in Google Maps and Waze.
How do I book and pay?
Directly with the owner, with no platform fees. A 50 % bank transfer confirms the booking and the balance is paid on arrival (transfer or cash). Check-in is from 5 pm with a key box so you can arrive at your own pace, and check-out is before 10:30 am.
Are there supermarkets and restaurants nearby?
The Carrefour in El Colorado and a Mercadona are about 9 minutes by car, and Mercadona delivers to the house. Sancti Petri marina, with its beach bars and restaurants, is about 15 minutes away, and La Estancia golf course is just on the other side of the garden fence.
Will the 2027 solar eclipse be visible from Villa La Barrosa?
